Day 7 - Kaitaia Zero Day

Distance Walked: 0Km

Hitched 14Km

Trail Covered: 120Km

Weather: Bright & sunny

Note: Unlike a couple of days ago when we stopped to rest our feet, this Zero day is for re - supply.

The Hand got in on the shopping early, here it is at Hunting, Camping and Fishing.

and then at the Pack “N” Save.

My 11 O’Clock photo today was taken on our shopping adventure ,you might be able to see the Hunting, Camping and Fishing store off in the Distance.

On the way back from our little shopping adventure we came across the guys having a feed, this is in the middle of town.

Shortly after the Goats we turned right onto our street I looked down and this little beauty was just sitting on the ground in front of us. You will no see my Lucky $50 as background to The Hand..

Who knows whose feet these are? For those of you the know me, in the past I have resisted the Croc trend, sorry Mathew Gordon (MG). In this case I have relented but in my defence these are Shimano fishing shoes.

Just showing of my new shoes in this air conditioned phone box..

today day was all about the detailed planning for the next 5 days. Most of the next section is unknown with both Road and Forest closures. It should take us the same time, 5 days.

I look forward to this challenge and bringing you all along for the ride.

Good Night
