Day 15 Paihia to The Farm

Note: Three modes of travel today

The Hand was up early and waiting for us to leave.,

First of all it was onto a Ferry. To Russell..

Our Chariot awaits, The Bay Belle ll.

All ashore at The Strand Beach (Russell). There were 9 of us on this Ferry.

I thought this was interesting, these were at thr front of someone’s driveway.

Just down from the road we were into a mangrove swamp for about 45 mins.

And then back on the Road for the 11 o’clock picture.

This the Hikers kitchen, toilets and entertainment building at The Farm.

Today started of great, however as the day wore on I realised I had a problem with the little toe on my left foot so to avoid any serious injury I hitched to the Farm and will take tomorrow as a Zero day.

It is a little disheartening, but I have arranged to meet up with Jeroen and then hike with him to Auckland, he has a great itinerary planned out.
