Note: A quick water crossing and a short day

The boys are excited for the Water Crossing, I’m a little slower this morning you can see all of my gear on the Picnic Table.

The water was nice and calm, this shot looks back at where we camped.

So with the fare all paid up, our skipper departed for the return journey.

The Oil Refinery has been closed for 4 months, it still handles the ore exotic petroleum products, these people were a little upset about the closure and the loss of jobs.

And just a little road walking today.

Todays 11 o’clock shot taken at the Ruakaka shopping centre, we took the opportunity to re supply and have a softie.

With tomorrow being a zero day we took the chance to have some Wine & Beer.

Last night I found that my phone wasn’t charging so there are not so many pictures today. Lucky enough at the Holiday Park I was chatting with a another person staying there who generously offered to take me into the nearest town to get it fixed so we are all good now.
