Day 23 Ruakaka (Zero Day)

Distance Walked: 0km

Date 28 Oct 2022

Hitched 36Km

End of day Trail Marker: 400

Weather: Bright and sunny

Note: What are Zero days for?

This couple are not real Trail Angels by definition, they are just very generous. They drove me 35km both ways to get my phone fixed. Thank you so much

To start off the day I did some Blogging and Jerome had a lite breakfast in anticipation of a Big Breakfast at the local Cafe.

On the way to the Cafe we noted that some of the locals had some interesting theories about the world.

And some more!

At 11o’clock to day I was busy blogging, the wi fi speed was so very slow.

The Hand is a little eager to get going :-)

.

So why are Zero Days important?

  1. We need to rest our weary bodies

  2. Re supply

  3. Laundry

  4. Blogging

On this occasion three of our group moved on today and we picked up the French Canadian (Jeff)

So all the administration is done and we move off tomorrow, I saw a sign yesterday the said Auckland 160km.

    That’s where it all started.

Good Night
